Deimos Materials is a sustainable materials company supplying environmentally-friendly resins for high-performance applications including injection molding, thin films, elastomers, and adhesives. Our goal is to help good ideas reach testing, optimization, and then full production, in both wide-scale and niche markets.

One kilogram of resin isn't even enough to turn on a production machine. We can work together to quickly produce usable amounts, through processes that we can scale up quickly and efficiently.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, we are on a journey to rapidly expand the availability of sustainable materials for the manufacturing sector. Sustainability is not limited to forks.

It's a long road to take an innovative sustainable resin from idea to commercial scale. There are a lot of great opportunities for making lab scale experimental materials, but very few partners capable of taking a novel material from a flask to industrial production.

Our development process relies on collaboration, ingenuity, rapid prototyping, and leveraging the newest technology to make specialty polymers for non-traditional sustainability applications. Replacing traditional plastics everywhere is a monumental task that requires more than a silver bullet. Our goal is to bring as many materials as possible from good idea to market production.

We work with any size client from academic institutions to early-stage startups to multi-national manufacturers. Our mission is to solve the worldwide plastics problem collaboratively as a team.

Contract Compounding

Extensive compounding capabilities for any plastic, specializing in sustainable materials like PLA & PHA. We handle batch sizes from 10 kg to 10,000 kg for new experimental compounds.

Contract Resin Manufacturing

We specialize in making the sustainable, high-performance polymers others won't. From custom architectures to new monomers, we scale with your growth from 5 kg to 100,000 kg.

Contract Research

Our PhD polymer chemists work with you to push the bounds of polymer chemistry, from using new raw materials to developing brand new plastics, ensuring quantifiable results.

Build Your Own Model
